About Salerno Remodeling
Will Jacob actually be on my job every day?
Yes — this is one of our most important promises. Jacob Salerno is personally on every job site every single day, from the first day of demo through the final walkthrough. You're not hiring a company that sends a crew and disappears. You're hiring Jacob, and Jacob shows up.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Salerno Remodeling LLC is fully licensed, HIC (Home Improvement Contractor) certified in New Jersey, and carries $1M in general liability insurance. We can provide proof of insurance upon request before any work begins.
Do you use subcontractors?
For specialty trades like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, we work with licensed and vetted subcontractors. Jacob coordinates and supervises all of them directly — you still have one point of contact, and the same standard of quality applies to every trade on your job.
What areas do you serve?
We serve homeowners throughout South Jersey including Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Atlantic, and Ocean Counties. Specific towns include Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Haddonfield, Moorestown, Washington Township, Mullica Hill, Sewell, Medford, and Franklinville. Not sure if we cover your area? Just call and ask.
The Remodeling Process
How do I get started?
Call or text Jacob directly at (856) 912-0061, or fill out the contact form on this page. He'll have a quick conversation with you, ask about your project, and set up a time to come see the space in person. There's no commitment required for the initial visit.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. We provide free, written estimates after coming to see your space in person. We don't give ballpark numbers over the phone — we want to make sure the estimate is accurate and that you're not surprised later.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. For any work that requires a permit, we handle the entire process — application, scheduling inspections, and ensuring everything is up to code. You never have to deal with the municipality directly.
How long does a typical remodel take?
It depends on the scope. A bathroom remodel typically takes 2–3 weeks. A kitchen remodel runs 3–5 weeks. Larger projects like additions or basement finishing can take 6–12 weeks or more. We give you a realistic timeline upfront and stick to it.
Will I need to leave my home during construction?
For most projects, no. We take precautions to protect the rest of your home — plastic barriers, floor protection, and daily cleanup. For larger whole-home renovations, we'll discuss this with you upfront so you can plan accordingly.
Pricing & Payment
How do you handle pricing?
We provide detailed, written quotes that clearly outline every line item. There are no hidden fees and no surprise charges after the fact. If something unexpected comes up during construction, we discuss it with you before proceeding — not after.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer financing through Acorn Finance with competitive rates and quick approvals. Ask us about it when you call, or visit our
Financing page to learn more.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept check, bank transfer, and major credit cards. Payment schedules are outlined clearly in your contract before any work begins.
Quality & Warranty
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every project comes with a 3-year workmanship warranty. If something we built or installed isn't right within that period, we come back and fix it — no questions asked. Materials also carry their own manufacturer warranties on top of ours.
What if I'm not happy with something during the project?
Call Jacob directly. Because he's on the job every day, most concerns get addressed the same day they come up. We don't consider a job done until you're satisfied with the result.
